A barrier-free municipal bath next to Kaimonji Park, about 5 minutes from JR Beppu Station, with a hot bath and a cooler bath. Beppu City told its council in December 2016 that its municipal baths do not ban guests with tattoos (only intimidating behaviour is treated as a nuisance).
