A historic municipal bathhouse in central Beppu, with a regular bath and a hot sand bath. Beppu City lists it among the public baths that welcome guests with tattoos.

Regular bath: children ¥100. Sand bath: ¥1,500 (age 6 and up).

HoursRegular bath 6:30-22:30. Sand bath 8:00-22:30 (last entry 21:30).
