Guests with tattoos are not admitted
A ryokan founded in 1911 near Yufuin Station that accepts day visitors in its large baths in the afternoon. The Oita Prefectural Tourism Association's official feature says tattoos are allowed except in the large public bath. Day visitors can only use the large baths and the ryokan has no private baths, so day visitors with tattoos cannot bathe here.

HoursAfternoon. The official site gives both 13:00-16:00 and 13:00-15:00 for day-use bathing; check before visiting.
