세 번째가 가장 마음 편한 방법입니다. 다른 손님과 같은 탕에 들어가지 않으므로 가릴 필요도, 남의 시선을 신경 쓸 필요도 없습니다. 스티커로 다 가릴 수 없는 큰 문신이 있는 사람에게는 대개 마지막에 남는 답이기도 합니다.

전세탕이란
방 하나를 시간 단위로 빌립니다. 대개 45~60분입니다.
요금은 시설마다 다릅니다. 1실 기준인 곳과 1인 기준인 곳이 있습니다.
일본어로 貸切風呂(가시키리부로), 家族風呂・家族湯(가족탕), 貸切湯라고 부릅니다. 가족이 아니어도 쓸 수 있습니다.
예약이 필요한 곳이 있습니다.
숙박객 우선인 시설에서는 붐비는 시간에 당일 손님이 들어가지 못할 수 있습니다.

전세탕이라면 가능: 대욕장은 문신을 거절해도 전세탕이라면 들어갈 수 있는 시설입니다.
대욕장도 가능하고 전세탕도 있음: 대욕장도 들어갈 수 있는 시설입니다. 남의 시선이 신경 쓰이면 전세탕을 고를 수 있습니다.
지금은 오이타현(벳푸와 그 주변)의 시설이 거의 전부입니다. 벳푸시와 오이타현 관광협회가 전세탕을 「문신이 문제가 되지 않는 곳」으로 공식적으로 꼽고 있기 때문입니다. 다른 지역도 확인되는 대로 추가합니다. 벳푸의 전세탕 목록은 문신이 있어도 들어갈 수 있는 벳푸 온천에 있습니다.
전세탕이 있는 숙소를 고른다. 예약할 때 「문신이 있는데 전세탕을 쓸 수 있나요?」라고 물어보세요.
대욕장 규칙은 숙소마다 다릅니다. 「전세탕은 괜찮다」고 적힌 숙소라도 예약할 때 한 번 더 확인하세요.
